Solve problems and find answers easily and effortlessly with the power of the unconscious mind.

Our unconscious mind is incredibly powerful. When we learn to use it effectively, it can help us solve problems, achieve more in our daily lives, and get what we want.
When I have a problem, I ask my unconscious mind for help. It’s often said we possess all the answers within. We may not know the answers consciously, but deep inside we do. In this post I share ways you can harness that power more effectively.
When you’ve lost something
Your unconscious mind can help when you’ve lost something. When I’ve lost something, I say the following:
“Unconscious mind, where is X? Thank you.”
Note: It’s important to say thank you both when you ask and when you find the item.
It also helps to let go of the search after asking. Stop actively thinking about it and let the answer come to you. Sometimes the answer comes in unexpected ways.
A few years ago, one of my colleagues lost his passport just before he was due to travel. He used this technique. Within ten minutes he had a call from his Mum to say she had found his passport.
When you have a problem or you’re ill
You can also ask for help when you have a problem or if you’re ill. You can say the following:
“Unconscious mind, what is it in me that’s causing me to have a headache? Bearing in mind there’s a positive intention behind every behaviour, please help me find another way to achieve this intention. Thank you”
I learnt about this when I did my Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) training. During the week I noticed I smelt of BO. I used this technique and asked what was causing it. As I was having a bath later that evening, I suddenly had a thought that my deodorant had run out. Sure enough, when I finished the bath and checked, my deodorant had run out. It was a roll-on, so I hadn’t previously noticed.
This technique can also be used in combination with the Ho’oponopono prayer that I mentioned in the last post.
Your unconscious mind can help you with pretty much anything from feeling ill to losing your keys. Just ask and let it do its thing.
How has your unconscious mind helped you? Let me know in the comments.
