Just Do It

Sometimes the best way to deal with procrastination is to ‘just do it’. My default behaviour is to avoid, delay and make excuses. Although I’ve often found the advice to ‘just do it’ a little harsh, I find that when I do that it usually benefits me.

Part one in our dealing with procrastination series

I would hazard a guess that most, if not all of us, procrastinate on a regular basis. One way to overcome procrastination is to “bang a nasty job off” (BANJO), in the words of my friend Emjet Hassan. Brian Tracy calls it “Eating a frog for breakfast.” The idea is that we do our most difficult task or tasks first thing in the morning.
