Ask the Angels is a series where I answer your questions using a combination of angel card readings and coaching. For this reading I am using the Angel Tarot deck.
This reading is for Carolyn who wanted to Ask the Angels – will I have enough patients to keep myself afloat financially?
Card one – the theme of the situation
Five of Earth
Fears surrounding money. The wisdom to accept help from others. Uncertain self-employment.
Firstly, I feel it’s important to emphasise that I believe it’s difficult to predict the future due to changes in circumstances, free will and the law of attraction. These readings are more about guidance than predictions.
Looking at this card I feel as though everything is “on the wonk”. You’re currently experiencing financial instability. There are snakes beneath your feet, ready to bite, but you can crush them with your heel. Remember you are a powerful woman and a potent manifester.
The angels are with you. The Universe has got your back. The skies are brightening.
Remember to keep your words and your thoughts positive and focus on what you want. What you focus on is what you get. You can say the following prayer:
Please cancel any adverse effects of my negative thoughts or worries about money. Help me to keep my thoughts, words and actions positive. Help me to use my words, thoughts, actions and the law of attraction to attract good things into my life; an abundance of health, wealth, happiness and love.
Whenever you spend money, bless the money and the receiver with love. Say the following mantra:
Thank you, thank you, thank you. Arigato, Arigato, Arigato. I give thanks for the opportunity to spend money and create space for more money to flow into my life.
It’s also important to prioritise your physical and mental health at this time. As Kate Northrup, author of Do Less says, “Body first, business second.” This may seem counter intuitive, but it will contribute to your success. Make self-care a priority.
Card two – the challenge or block
The Dreamer – Archangel Metatron
A leap of faith. Follow your dreams. Unexpected opportunities.
You’re surrounded by opportunities. They are all swirling around you. Again, I get the feeling the Universe has got your back.
These opportunities might not be what you expect, so be open. Avoid focusing on how your financial problems will be resolved and have faith. When we focus on the hows, we limit the power of the Universe and may slow down our manifesting power or even stop it altogether.
Keep focusing on your dreams. What would you wish for if you had a magic wand? What would you do if money was no object? Remember that with the law of attraction and practices such as Buddhist chanting, we can achieve anything we want and make the impossible possible.
While it’s important to discuss our plans with friends, loved ones or even experts, it’s important not to let their opinions sway you unduly, especially if they are negative.
This is an exciting time for you. You’ve been through the mill and now the world is your oyster.
It’s also crucial to take action every day, even if it’s a baby step.
Call upon Archangel Metatron to guide your steps and help you commit to taking action.
Card three – the angel’s guidance for this situation
Three of Water
A celebration! A wedding, graduation, or birth announcement. The need to have more fun.
When I look at this card, I see the dolphins having a party. I also see beautiful, jewelled cups. I feel the angels are reminding you of all the good things in your life. Remember to spend time practicing gratitude every day.
As well as making time for self-care, as I already mentioned, it’s good to make time to have fun. When we have fun, it’s raises our vibration and life-state and we are more likely to attract abundance.
Relax. Take it easy. Lighten up. Can you book a holiday? It might seem counter intuitive to take time off work and spend money on a holiday when you’re concerned about money but it’s a clear sign to the Universe that you are worthy of abundance. Use the mantra mentioned earlier to ease any worries about spending.
If you’re reluctant to book a holiday, you could take some time off work, have a week at home and plan lots of nice things to do. You can meet friends for lunch or coffee, or go for lunch or coffee on your own. You could go for nice walks by the sea or out in the country. Research nice places where you can have a day out.
Card four – the likely outcome
Life Experience – Archangel Chamuel
A significant life event. A powerful revelation. Time to spread your wings.
The angels are suggesting that you take their advice. At the moment, the angels and the Universe are gently guiding you along your path. If you don’t make the necessary changes, the Universe will get your attention in a less subtle way. It will give you a good kick up the backside. Whether you choose to learn the lesson the easy way or the hard way, the outcome will be positive. You will look back with hindsight and understand why things unfolded the way they did.
I am seeing Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz in the field of poppies. You can choose to be passive and sleep though this or you can take positive action. Take one small step every day, trusting that you will be guided. Sometimes that action may be business related, sometimes it might be to have a day of self-care. Follow your intuition and inspiration. Ask the angels to guide you. I find this prayer helpful:
“What is the highest and best use of my time today? What would someone who loves themselves do with their time? Help me to get fear and ego out of the way and be in service.
What would you have me do today? Where would you have me go? What would you have me say and to whom? What would you have me wear? How would you have me do my hair? How would you have me serve humanity?”

You can say this to your higher power, whoever or whatever that might be; God, the Angels, The Universe, your higher self, your Buddhahood, Mother Nature etc.
You can call upon Archangel Chamuel to guide your steps. Archangel Chamuel will speak to you through your intuition.
