Simple Summer Solstice Fire Ceremony
Holding a fire ceremony is a great way to move forward with your life and get what you want. Although this can be done at any time of year, it’s particularly powerful at certain times such as Summer Solstice and New Year.
Take a blank piece of paper and divide it into two columns. At the top of the first column write ‘things I wish to let go of’. In the other column write ‘things I wish to attract into my life’. Things to let go of could include poverty consciousness, resentment, anger, blame, victim mentality, bad habits, ill health, limiting self-beliefs. Things to attract could be a new job, money, abundance, friendships, health, a new relationship. Think about these things carefully and be specific. Be careful what you wish for.
Once you have completed your lists, set fire to them with the intention of letting them go to the Universe, your higher self or whatever higher power you believe in. You could also keep a copy of your list and put it in a sacred place such as your altar* or Buddha Box* if you have one. You can then review at the next relevant date such as Winter Solstice or New Year.
